❤️ In 2008, my beautiful 17-year-old son, Jonathan, died suddenly and unexpectedly. In that moment, life as I knew it was shattered. My family and I were thrown into a sea of grief, where even the simplest parts of daily life became almost impossible to navigate.
As time gently passed and I began to glimpse small rays of light again, something profound began to unfold. People started to come to me—first those who had also lost a child, then others who had lost parents, partners, close friends. They didn’t always want answers. Often, they simply needed to talk… to be listened to… to be held in a space of deep love and safety.
From this place of loss, something quietly sacred awakened in me. This work did not come from my mind. It came from my Soul. Becoming a Soul Midwife was it is a calling.
It is the greatest honour to walk beside those who are dying and those who love them. To sit in silence, to hold space for tears, to offer comfort, connection, and gentle healing.
My heart longs to contribute something meaningful: To ease fear. To make space for love. To help people prepare for death with peace, presence, and grace. hold space for love, and help people prepare for a peaceful, conscious death.
This work is born from loss, but it is rooted in love. At the heart of what I do is compassion, always.
