Tender Loving Care for the Dying

TLC is rooted in compassion, presence, and the healing power of family and community.

As a Soul Midwife and TLC trainer, my calling is to help bring death, dying, and end-of-life care gently back into the heart of everyday living, held with tenderness, dignity, and love.

Alongside my experience as a Soul Midwife, I have also spent much of my life guiding and teaching others as an educator and teacher.

My work weaves these paths together: offering compassionate support, sacred listening, and practical guidance for those walking alongside the dying.

Are You Caring for Someone You Love
at Home?

Whether you are supporting a family member, working professionally in end-of-life care, or simply feeling called to deepen your understanding of the dying journey, TLC offers grounded, nurturing support for both the practical and emotional aspects of care.

What is TLC? 💗

TLC (Tender Loving Care) is a gentle and accessible introduction to the principles of Soul Midwifery, created by award-winning Felicity Warner and The Soul Midwives School.

It offers simple yet deeply meaningful practices that can be used within mainstream healthcare settings, care homes, hospices, hospitals, and family homes, working harmoniously alongside medical care.

TLC workshops share compassionate, practical skills that can profoundly enrich the quality of end-of-life care, helping create calm, comfort, connection, and loving presence during this sacred stage of life.

TLC welcomes anyone who feels drawn to support others through the dying process, especially those who are:

  • Caring for a loved one with a terminal diagnosis

  • Working within palliative or end-of-life care settings

  • Supporting people in hospitals, hospices, care homes, health centres, or private homes

  • Holistic or complementary therapists working with those facing end-of-life transitions

  • Seeking to deepen their understanding, compassion, and confidence around death and dying

  • Wishing to hold space for others with greater presence, empathy, and peace.

TLC training offers compassionate, heart-centred guidance that helps people feel less afraid and more supported during the final stages of life.

It brings together practical care skills with deep humanity, helping to create spaces where dignity, comfort, and connection can flourish.

The TLC Compassionate Community Project has been recognised by the National Council for Palliative Care for the quality of care offered to the dying,

and is highly regarded within healthcare settings.

Today, TLC is being embraced within care homes, hospitals, community healthcare services, and private homes throughout the UK
